Last saturday, Kevin Rudd (the new Prime Minister) said to be proud of the Aboriginal culture. A plane wrote the word Sorry in the sky above Bondi beach. So finally it's there! The word has come out! Rudd did what former Prime Ministers refused to do for 11 years.

It was on Australia day, januari 26th. A national holiday. On januari 26th the firts British fleet arrived. For Aboriginals this was the beginning of an invasion that led to loosing their land. So Happy Australia day, or is it happy invasion day?
Personally I am glad the word has come out. They deserve a big fat Sorry!
