Saying goodbye on Australia day

You will never get the love for travelling out of me (meeting people, having the time of my life, seeing beautiful things, learning about life and other cultures, the feel of freedom), but I noticed that as I get a bit (just a tiny bit :-)) older a feel a bit tired at the end of every trip (until I feel the need to go away again, that I guess is the way it is and will be).

So time has come to say goodbye to wonderful Australia and amazing Sydney. I'm a bit sad, but actually I am also looking forward to going home. It has been a beautiful journey. I met wonderful people. I wanted to do this trip for a long tim and for a special reason. I left a piece of my heart in Oz when I was here in '99-2000. But I think I can (carefully) say I picked it up and am bringing it home, instead of leaving a bigger piece behind. It is a wonderful country, but it is not my home. Sure I would like to live here, I would like to call it my home, but only if I can bring all of you with me. That is my home. So see ya there!
