The village of Perth

Still in Perth. Actually in Fremantle, near Perth, but much, much nicer to stay. I find that Perth is kind of boring. It is (supposed to be) a big city, but it feels like a village. Which is ok and which is why so many peolpe DO like it. 'The village of Perth', as Lenny said. It's just not my cuppa tea, it does not have the right vibe for me. But I must say, today I spent walking around in Perth and I went to Kings Park (400 acres park in the city, very beautiful) and that was very nice!
Fremantle is more lively, has more nice places to hang out. It is a historical little town near Perth. It has more of that good buzzzz.

I spent a few more days strolling around with Leonard and I met up with Aude again. I tried to figure out how to get up north. I kind of got stuck in this process so I had an off day, or actually evening on tuesday. I felt bad and could not think straight anymore. I shared my off day and weird state of mind (at the time) with Thomas by email and he kind of helped me organising my brain agian. I needed that, really did. Funny enough, because normally I do know what to do. But: I think I know what I am gonna do. I met Aude again wednesday and we decided to go on a little roadtrip at Christmas!! We will leave on December 24th in the morning and we will be back on December 28th in the evening. This way I get to see a little bit of the south of Western Australia, which people say is very nice. And: I will have good company on Christmas. And: I get to go on a roadtrip, one of the things I love the most! And: I just like hanging around with Aude and it is nice to be able to spent a little bit more time together before I head off to the north. After that I will leave the next day to go up north.

I will probably go up to Broome instead of heading up further north to Darwin, ' cos I have already been there and I can fly back from Broome to Sydney as well. That gives me more time to explore the Kimberly a bit if possible (rainy season). ' There is nothing after Broome', someone said to me today. I said: ' That is good, I like nothing.' Well we will see.
