The trip continues.....

After Salvador we went to Arraial d´ajuda and Trancoso. These places are so relaxing, even the dogs are rastafari, yeah man! A perfect place to recuperate from travel exhaustion (yeah it excists, but never for long) in tropical beauty. Trancoso is a small tropical paradise. It is overlooking the ocean and its wide, grassy central square is host to afternoon futebol games. Lots of possibilities to lounge, on the beach and in the village. It felt like paradise. We stayed a couple of days in a hostel that is called Republica das bananas. The owner, Julio, was a very, very nice and relaxing man. From a busy life in Sao Paulo he preferred a quieter life. First he lived two years in solitary on his farm. Without contact with men. After that he lived for 8 more years on his farm with two families who worked for him. Then he started the hostel. And we were also in this place, sucking in its tranquillity, its serenity and its calmness before heading down to Rio.....
