Biting the dust and drinking Pisco Sour!

We are in San Pedro de Atacama right now, a small desert town. It is a very nice town. We are biting dust over here, but we are cleaning our throats with Pisco Sours (national cocktail). Mjammie! This afternoon we will go to the Vally of the Moon to see the sunset. Tomorrow we will go to a big saltlake with flamingo´s and friday we will see the geysers at 4000 meters. We will leave at 4 am, because we have to be there in time for the sunrise. Because we will leave that early it will be minus 10 degrees over there. So everything that I packed in my backpack will be on my body as you can imagine....:-). There are straydogs everywhere, they are fed with the leftovers from the restaurants. Which is a good thing so that I feel better about the dogs and Miriam won´t feel like having to finish everything we ordered, like she always does.
I´m off to biting some more dust!
Love,
Ellen

Wat fijn...hoe meer berichtjes over stof en vroege uurtjes, hoe minder ik jullie benijd! Tot de mooie foto's komen natuurlijk! Hier alles goed. Lekker weer, niet te druk, bijna weekend...:-)

Goeie trip!

Hoi Ellen,

Even een reactie van mij. Klinkt goed allemaal! Goeie vlucht gehad?

Minus ten! I wear a t-shirt and boxers outside in minus ten! Everything sounds amazing! Very much makes me yearn to travel again. Keep up the good work, and be safe and have fun!
