Hmmmmmm planning such a long trip is somewhat different from the regular 4 or 5 week backpack holiday I've been doing in between my bigger trips. We want to visit so many countries in the 6 months we planned to travel together, that it requires some sort of preperation :-)
My last day at work will be on April 14th. We will leave at May 4th, the day after my birthday. We will go by train from Apeldoorn to Vladivostok and from there onwards to Japan. To start with. So right now we are handling passports, visa, insurance, vaccinations, money and all the other important things.
Preperations is part of the fun, so they say. Normally this is true for me as well, but I've been very busy at work and otherwise mentally ocupied at the same time, that it kind of just now kicks in: we're leaving in a few weeks! Wow!! How cool is that! With Netglobers I've been working on the weblog I'll be keeping for them. The address wil be posted here before we leave.
So tune in as from May 4th, as the adventure begins!
